GWS Vacuum equipment used to remove resin from an oxazole vessel

Tuesday, 06 November 2018 09:52

It’s always great to see site photos of our kit in action. We were really pleased to receive these last week, showing our 50 Series Diesel Vacuum Machine and Filter Hopper being used to remove resin from an oxazole vessel.

‘Just a few photos of the job that we have completed. We removed 93 drums of resin from the oxazole vessel. Customer very happy that we did it so quickly and safely. Great equipment as usual.’

We always appreciate feedback and photos, if you have any we would love to see them.

GWS welcomes new apprentice to vacuum manufacturing team

Wednesday, 17 October 2018 13:49

We're pleased to welcome Henri to GWS, who is joining our fabrication team.

At GWS, all our vacuum equipment is manufactured in house, to help us achieve the fantastic quality and service we are known for. We believe it is important to pass on skills to the next generation. With a mix of in-house training and study towards a Level 3 apprenticeship, we’re sure Henri will be an asset to the team.

Welcome to the team Henri!

Do you have issues with static when vacuuming?

Tuesday, 04 September 2018 09:34

Static electricty is a concern, espically when handling combustible materials such as bio-fuels, coal dust etc.

All our GWS vacuum equipment can be supplied with fully compliant explosion relief for ATEX compliance. The equipment is usually positioned outside (which is unlikely to be DSEAR zoned for dust explosions) and it is only the hose which runs into the zoned area.

As product is vacuumned there is a potential for static electricty to be generated. For use in hazardous Zone 21 or Zone 22 areas, GWS provide users with anti-static PVC vacuum conveying hoses. GWS check the end-to-end resistance of each length of hose and provide a test certificate for each hose assembly.
